Sensorium premieres nationwide March 8 on ALL ARTS as part of The First Twenty series

The First Twenty: Sensorium follows Prestini as she explores the intersections of disability, artificial intelligence and voice in an experimental multi-sensory opera and impact project. The collaboration with choreographer Jerron Herman and poet Brenda Shaughnessy involves a team of activists, scientists and technicians from around the world, including Enactlab in Copenhagen and Luke DuBois of New York University (NYU). Through poetry, dance, scientific inquiry and sound, the film explores voice beyond language and the possibilities for human connection and artificial intelligence to expand forms of non-verbal or non-typical patterns of speech and voice.
